About me

I'm Michelle, and I have a deep passion for flowers. I've worked as a professional floral designer since 1996 and have been a lifelong hobby gardener.

I stepped away from designing full-time in 2013 but didn't get far. I said yes to helping a few family members and friends with their wedding and event flowers, and it was only a short time until the lid was off of my not-so-secret side hustle.

In 2020, I converted my linen closet into a mini greenhouse. That spring, I transplanted over 2,500 seedlings into a simple garden plot in my backyard on the west side of Indianapolis.

Since then, I've outgrown the laundry room closet, and my little garden has become an organic, pollinator-friendly urban micro flower farm with more than 50 varieties of annual and native perennial flowers.

I love being connected to nature and all things flowers, whether it’s sowing seeds and nurturing each plant, harvesting blooms, or creating beautiful arrangements.
